When you think about a happy ending for this first season... wow, it's just... The last 10 minutes change everything.
The best episode of series one by far.
Joe and Beck test each other and she finally finds out just what kind of person he really is thanks to a box hidden in the ceiling of the bathroom and she uncovers every missing piece of his crazy jigsaw puzzle and puts all the pieces together, finding out, what we as the audience have known all along. The trophies he's kept remind me of the blood samples Dexter would keep. They'd get along well!
Very well acted by all involved, brilliant script and great direction.
The last 10 mins of the episode are brilliant and especially the scene at the very end. I did not see that coming at all.

This is by far the best episode yet!
Joe and Beck are finally back on track again and happy as ever when Beck begins to investigate what happened between Joe and Candace before she moved to Italy and explore his past.
Joe visits Dr. Nicky again to discuss a newer problem that he has and later on begins to let go of his past.
There are a bunch of flashbacks to Joe and Candace when they were together and we find out more of what happened.
The acting, scripts, cinematography etc. Are all still spectacular.
The stakes are heightened in this episode and it is extremely intense during moments (some of which are maybe the most tense in the series as of yet) and it all boils into one amazingly shocking cliffhanger that perfectly sets up the finale.

Wow... this episode was crazy. Things are coming together, and it might be one of the best in the season. We learn what happened with Candace, and let me tell you - it changes everything you thought you knew about Joe. I loved how this episode dove into Joe's past. It makes him even scarier because now you can see the pattern, and it's not just about Beck. The flashbacks were creepy in the best way, and Penn Badgley nailed that unsettling vibe again. The tension here is insane. Beck is starting to put pieces together, and for once, it feels like she's onto him. But at the same time, Joe always seems a step ahead, which makes it even more stressful to watch. If I had to nitpick, Beck's been a little too trusting for too long, but I'll give her credit - she's catching on. The voiceover can feel a bit much sometimes, but it's part of what makes this show unique. This episode is a huge turning point. It's intense, creepy, and sets up the finale. If you were starting to feel sorry for Joe before, this one snaps you right out of it. Rating- 9.5/10. Super solid episode.

- GoofsThe Plumchapell Records website shows Candace's A&R rep as Elijah Thornton, but the article Beck reads about his death refers to him as Elijah Thornton Stone. Stone is Candace's last name. Additionally, the article refers to "manor" of death and other errors.
