This season starts out really good and the webbing of all the seasons was really interesting but it just went to nothing. The ending makes the whole season seem totally pointless and didn't make much sense. I think AHS has lost its way since Coven or Asylum. Worth a watch but dont get your hopes up for an amazing season.
3 out of 5 stars.
The season finale is a blood bath with the body count. The idea with them trying to stop Michael was actually entertaining. The direction was rushed and boring with the script. It was worth seeing.
Overall, AHS Apocalypse i will rate 2 out of 5 stars. The season started out great with an exciting opening episode. But falls flat with boring characters and story when they crossover with Coven and other seasons. The villain of the antichrist was creepy. And it picks up with the season finale with a shocking twist that comes full circle. This was a forgettable season that had a great concept but brought back the worst seasons of AHS to the cross over.

I think this series has been too mushy and soft all the way through.
The cast have done a brilliant job as they always do, but the story/production is the weakest to date.
I feel as though the storyline ended before it got started. It needed more 'oomph' in the writing, more excitement in the pivotal scenes. More drama and tension - all of which were missing this season.
It seems as though the writers have tried to concentrate on the emotional attachments of the characters, which has resulted in far too much reflective dialogue.
American Horror Story is supposed to be horror and suspense - not a soppy copy of 'Charmed'.
The writers really need to up their game if American Horror Story is to survive much longer.
The finale was very disappointing. Extremely weak and illogical - even for a fantasy.
Normally I would rate AHS at least a 7. This has got to be the lowest of all the seasons so far.

While some questions and plot points were left open and unanswered, I still LOVE how they did it. The many cameos and returning characters, the fact the ending still wasn't exactly a happy one, and how they expanded on Mallory quite a bit. All in all, I love this finale.
