I know that it is an adaptation and things need to be changed, but changes should be made that make sense. In addition, as long as the characters and the atmosphere of the original are preserved I am always ready to see a new interpretation of my favorite works. Kim has just been misrepresented there In the series: Kim Constantly Controlled Everything
In the film: Kim Possible is insecure, always too late, sometimes clumsy she is unpopular with both her students and her teachers. What is not only in the complete contrast of the series is also narrative makes no sense. Kim is a character created to handle everything. her name is "Kim Possible" what did you think? Because unlike the DC superheroes, it does not cause any collateral damage, it actually needs to be loved by humans because it saves lives daily. How can you interpret them so wrong?
The show has an abstract drawing style that is hard to adapt to live action so try to create your own thing but you can not go wrong and do the worst kind of whitewashing I've ever seen in my life. I mean Watchmen has dared to make her character completely blue. The drama is also far too reserved for this ridiculous scenario some things are pronounced too serious which would not be a problem if the plot was not pulled in the towel and used in a better way.
Ron and the actor's interpretation is the best thing about the movie, but unfortunately not enough to save him, but it's not unappealing.
The series has a post-modern feel to many aspects of both the Action Series and High School dramedy. The slogan is: Kim Possible. She can do anything. It's also rather sad that the live action movie is a lot more ridiculous, cartoonish, absurd than the 2000 TV series that was actually made for younger audiences. To summarize in one sentence betrayal of the figure.
But what almost caused me a heart attack was the scene when sheego wants to be called not a Hcenchman but Henchwoman. The real Shego would never do that. Shego Had A Degree And Never Used It. She has no need to define herself through such a thing, she lets her acts speak for herself, she would at most be upset only to have the Henchmen status although she is more competent than her bosses.
In addition, they have Kim's school activity namely the cheerleading replaced by football (soccer), which makes even less sense. It is a cliché that I chatter cheerleaders constantly but it has a reason why it became a cliché. A cheerleader is more capable of performing all these acrobatic things Cheerleaders are more physically mobile because they exercise and stretch like a contortionist. A cheerleader he would go through everyday life with this intricate patchwork Football is not as popular in America as cheerleading And why would a football coach allow someone to distract all this from leaps and bounds when it comes to football? No football coach would make his players jump around like this. I mean, Christy Carlson Romano was a real cheerleader, and was honored by the American Cheerleader Junior magazine, the Honorary Cheerleader. Had you not been able to give her an more honorable cameo? as the sports teacher? cheerleading-Trainer? or even better in a flashback than Mim Possible?
And before I have to hear again that, I am a way too narrow-minded fanboy, who should come down. Imagine seeing in the next Harry Potter movie: Harry with a Leather jacket, Mohawk, face tattoos and piercings smoking pot.
This is a disgrace to the original Kim Possible cartoon.
I could have let the low budget effects and strange casting choices slide if the movie at least tried to keep the spirit of the cartoon alive, but this live action adaptation comes across as a lame after school special, and was damn painful to watch.
