Remember Me

Look right off the bat we get into this movie about a woman who can't remember who she is or what happened to her. She wakes up in bed to a woman who claims to be her mum and a fiance. As she starts to remember she begins to suspect things aren't what they should be. We've seen this done over and over. The best thing about this movie is the performance of Jeanie gold aka mum. The other characters are mediocre at best and this is more of a thriller than a horror movie in my opinion. At the end of the day this isn't the worst movie ever but wasn't great. I will say I was entertained enough to watch the whole movie which in some cases I'd stop watching . The performance of mum kept me glued to the screen. So check it out if there's nothing else to watch.

You need to send praise to any filmmaker brave enough to attempt the feat that is making a movie. And that's where the praise ends. Good on the cast and crew for giving it their all.

The story was an amateur mock up of several great movies put together. If you could sum up the film in one word, it would be lazy. The cinematography was lazy. The direction of the actors was lazy. The performances was lazy. The editing was lazy. There were some very odd creative choices as well. The use of music was amateurish.

Hopefully the director seriously reflects on this film and breaks down where, but more importantly why, virtually everything went wrong.

This was not a horror film, nor a horrible film, although the final 10 minutes had horror elements, and some of the acting became weak. I mostly enjoyed it as a fun, quirky suspence thriller, but with better direction & maybe editing, it could've been more enjoyable. The mother was funny scary at times, but sometimes over-the-top, & until the last minutes the fiance was ok. There's also a totally unnecessary scene of "Mother" dancing with the "fiance", that seemed to only be there to showcase the theme song, which I doubt any music fans will be searching for. They also could have done without Rose's father, who gave the weakest performance. Good start, stayed interesting until it messed up just before the not-so-bad ending.

We don't get to see any of the lead actresses body. So much potential to lift the really bad movie up. Also there is no real build up to the beginnings of the film. It just jumps in with her in bed. It's a really bad movie. The mother is just the worst character imaginable, in a totally annoying way. There is just nothing explained in this film. It's a nonsense from start to finish. I wish I'd never bothered to watch it. It's some of the worst film making you will see. I mean that in terms of missed potential and general disinterest. It probably could have been much better with a little more thought going into the writing. That's the worst part. There's no structure to the film. It just starts and stays the same for the whole film. That's no interesting as it takes you nowhere. It's not entertaining. Waste of some really great norgs.

This isn't a bad film, but there are problems with this that drags it down. I would say the acting is above average, the editing was somewhat okay'ish, and the music was mediocre. But I would recommend this to my friends, and my mother. Fans of horror wouldn't mind watching this.
