Great season finale, the superb writing and acting made this stand out once again

Everything about this season finale was just excellent, from the writing to the acting we got a satisfying ending to the season. Plot twists so clever and unexpected made it the show I fell in love with the first season. The focus on the characters and mostly Wendy, giving her the final touches of the character development we have seen her in the whole season, it truly lead to something unexpected but awesome thing. I can't wait what they bring to the table for the next season, more focus on the mafia? Seems like it!

The ensemble cast is once again incredible and deserves the golden globes and emmys it got nominated for, the acting by Jason Bateman, Julia Garner and Laura Linney is some of the finest performances of 2018 in television. Overall season has been incredible, building on the good things of the first season. Bringing more beautiful long shots, making them longer and such. Cinematography is again superb, incredible work from the whole production.

    Season 2...

The best show since Breaking Bad... It's not even a debate after this season.

    Now THAT is a finale!

That last scene gave me chills.

Wendy has to be the most terrifyingly sympathetic character on the show. Marty's desperation is repulsively understandable. And between Charlotte's isolation and the way Jonah latches onto his new lifestyle, the four of them make quite a group.

Each character is so dynamic this episode. The tension mounts every moment as we learn what choices the Byrde family makes and the repercussions of their earlier decisions.

My only complaint was Wyatt's storyline. Although it's conclusion this season was satisfying, it felt a little less meaty than some of the other storylines.

Amazing season finale to an amazing show.

    Simply mindblowing

This has turned out to be one of my top 5 series of all time. The tension and the unconscious drama that plays out with the different families is astonishing and keeps me addicted through every episode. Although I feel that the main characters Marty and Wendy can be a bit simple and defying, the Snell couple plays well, and especially the Langmores has an development and a final show at the end that could easily make them have their own series who would be just as popular. Ruth (Julia Garner) deserves a Grammy for her performance by the way. Cant wait for season 3!

    Get the hate correct

I don't understand all the hate directed at the characters Wendy and Charlotte. Yes, they are annoying, but Charlene is a completely ridiculous character. Dumb as a rock red neck that is bitter and completely irrational, yet somehow she is a criminal mastermind that outwits everyone.

Marty is pretty dumb also when he asks how are we supposed to deal with Darlene,"what are we going to do, have her killed?" The idea that he doesn't understand the answer is yes is just ridiculous. He is supposed to be brilliant and dispassionate. Sometimes the writers seem to be lost in a dope haze.

My rating is based on the remainder of the storyline hanging together.

Also, BTW, those claiming that Justified and Breaking Bad were more realistic obviously are paid.

When Marty Byrde is texting Charlotte, it appears they are both using iMessage on iPhones, because the typical reply balloon with ellipses is shown. However, Charlotte is shown using a Google Pixel 2 Xl, which is an Android device that doesn't support the iOS platform.
