I was wondering what the premise of the show was, but the more I watched it I found it creatively done. Great blend between reality and the characters poking fun of their lives. Well done.

This was so great! I admire the cast so much. They actually make fun of themselves without being obnoxious and keep the viewer looking forward to whats next. Can't wait to see next week's episode!!!

You ever watched Leo Di Caprio's Inception? Read and find out how I see it connected.
First episode was meh, watched it out of respect.
Second was... hmm.. decent, but still I wouldn't watch it whole, would change the channel, if I want fan of Beverly Hills 90210 back in a day.
Third was like, wait, this is getting interesting
Four... well this is GENIUS!
Honestly, now when I think of it, you can't get better reboot idea than this. If they just continued to do mid age characters from the original show, it would be reinventing the wheel. This way with mixing some parts of their real life with the fiction, and ON TOP OF THAT, "working" on actual reboot episode, you get the revolutionary TV show.
Revolutionary in a way that you are not sure what has taken as an inspiration firm real life, what is just a mod to their real personas, and what is a part of reboot. Like inception movie, you are not sure are you in dream or in a dream within a dream
Yes, I know, this show won't create even 5% of the hype what original show did, but I am pretty sure, in 5-10 years, this show will be taken as an example of trying something new. As an anchor in this reality/ mockumentary / reboot genre.
Just like the original show did, this one is also pushing the genre boundaries. I would so much love if I could see the season two, even better, see it love as one of the people on the crowd while filming 😊

I read what it was about unlike others. I'm a true fan and I think it's gonna be great. It's not a "reboot" like people think. If you'll keep watching you'll see what happens. It's good!

Honestly, I went into watching this thinking it wouldn't be that great. But I actually loved it, and can't wait for the next episode!! Very different...give it a chance!!
All the actors must be quite humble, because they sure poke fun at themselves. No shame, really, but it's all tastefully done! I loved the original show but found Seasons 6-10 boring for the most part, just loved Season 1-5. Anyway if you loved the original you'll love this!

I didn't expect to like this show, but i decided to give it a chance. So happy that I did, because this is funny, nostalgic and overall a great way to pass an evening after a day at work. This crew is awesome.

Surprised me a lot! So much fun to see that the characters make fun of themselves.
Didn't think it was gonna be so funny.

I think it's hilarious. It's just easy to watch this and you walk away giggling to yourself at the silly situations. It's not meant to be serious... It's in good 90210 fashion
Hilarious, creative, fun. So much better than it could have been. At first I was confused. "What's going on," I asked, but it didn't take long to figure out.
Great first episode.
Great first episode.

I literally grew up watching the original. I detested the remake. I adored this "reboot" scripted hour beyond belief! Everyone is funny and self deprecating while being genuine about the fact the original is what set them in motion. There are moments of pure nostalgia interwoven with all things 2019! I didn't have high expectations but I sincerely enjoyed each episode. I hope they continue this series!!

I read that lots of people "cringed" with the pilot and "roasted" it and stuff like that and there was a lot of hate because they expected an old fashioned reboot . But after watching it I thought first of all what a great fresh idea ! A show within a show . Scripted reality . Loved the concept , really.
And second of all , to all the disappointed fans out there , do you remember after so many seasons of the original 90210 , how much drama we've already watched ? We've watched every possible scenario they can think of . Every possible relationship and hook up. Accidents and deaths , people leaving , people coming back . They changed the main cast so many times , adding people , replacing people . We lived through so much drama it even grew a bit tedious by the end , right? So what exactly were you looking forward to see now ? The same things but with an older cast ? The longer I think about it the more I believe they did the best thing possible with this reboot . It's fresh people ! Stop hating and just watch and feel that 90s nostalgia.

I was weary of this reboot, but it is a fun look at how they cope with life after the show..it's a unique look through the eyes of the actors that tried to move on from a hot series..it would be cool if they made more episodes
I think it is cleverly done. Difficult to bring back a series that began 30 years ago. I hope to see more

It this 2 socks freshly washed, on top of each other and than outside in 'folded' to a 'snail' (Pardon my grammar, i am from the netherlands)
It was the same kind of 'adventure' episodes as in the original series i saw on DVD
It is no gone with the wind, love and war, citizen kane, so what? Loved it, updated, NO reboot, fresh OS, well, like i said, up to date "It turned a corner in 2007" as someone replies to something in an episode :)
Love it.

It's really creative, innovative tv show I have ever seen. I didn't understand in the beginning but the more I watched it, I laughed and then i was like "WTF" & "huh?"... the more I pondered about what I just watched. This is a new kind of reality tv show - mixed with a script - playing along the storylines of all the rumors that surrounds the actors plus their real lives.
The one disappointment is that their real wives and husbands isn't on here. Like Megan Fox. Lol but I can't wait till they put in Tiffany Amber Theissen into the mix if this TV show continues further.

A few years out of high school and on goes the tv. I am a young college student by night, and hairstylist by day. But on Wednesday's I was popular, mean, in love and looking for trouble. I escaped my world through this show, and it never got old. I left my college class and put on my mini portable antenna tv to watch on my drive home. Long before streaming tv in your car was a thing, I kept it on, raced up to my apartment I shared and watched the final 20 minutes in color. When the series ended, I cried and said good by to the high school friends I had imagined I was with. Now I'm 50 a business owner and midlife wife. Kid is gone and although I love the life I lead, I found my old high school friends. The absence of Luke P was felt, but all my friends are here. And you know what, let the shenanigans begin. Nostalgia goes a long ways when you have more years behind you then in front. I enjoyed the opening episode, and just like days of old, I will punish my husband with watching every new episode that comes out. Because after all, who can ever forget the best friends of high school you never had.
I am impressed to see a good show after all these years.
Well written. Well played. With all demons of the past and hopes of the future.
I believe they can live this part of their life without struggling to play a character and let their imagination do the job.
It's obvious not a show for teenagers but it's definitely for those who want to grow a little faster.
I am happy for this and hope to see them for many seasons.
Good luck!

I hadn't read anything about it so I was prepared for a reboot but what it gave the audience was so much better.

After watching the first show, I was so confused and didn't understand what the plot was (like a lot of other people who reviewed the show.) Though with the second show, it's starting to grow on me. Some of it is a bit cheesy but if you don't take the show too seriously it's what I would call a slice of good American cheese... If the show is going where I think it is, then I think it may be a drama (like the original) inside a comedy, kind of multi-layered. But also, the show could potentially address current issues the original 90210 fan base are facing. I was beginning adolescence when 90210 came out, and the show was one my mom and I could watch together and hold some relevancy at the time. I'm really interested to see where it goes. On a side note, I love Jennie's sarcastic but real (?) "character".
I must say when i heard there was a reboot, i was skeptical. I hate remake and they are tons on the movie theater that ruins the movie love.
I wanted to see what could they bring from that eighties series i watched when It was on. Few memories about the characters more than the actual story. Those years were great in a way compared to today's life. No mobile phone no internet... real life!!!
I 'm pretty happy to discover a kind of Hollywood funny series rather than making up a reboot / remake.
Those actors are fun and really make us love them after so many years. I'm really enjoying watching this show and it's great to have finally something out of the blue compared to what they are making those days that missing life and fun.
A huge thank you to whoever got this idea to make a story around the story of a nineties series.
Love it!!!
