This is the season 8 finale and we are left with a cliffhanger as police chief Reagan's youngest son Jamie and his devoted partner Eddie are starting their daily shift. As they proceed to drive away in their assigned police cruiser from the police station the audience observes they are being followed by a black sedan. Will something happen? Well in fact, lots does happen and the season 8 finale is a doozy you won't want to miss if you are a true Blue Bloods fan like Mrs. Shullivan and I are.
It is a fine episode deserving of a 9 out of 10 rating.
Right after that Bridget Moynahan's colleague Tamara Tunie is shot and killed right in front of her and a few other deaths happen as well.
The climax occurs when one of the Reagan family is nearly killed and the handling of the suspense is worthy of a Hitchcock.
One of the best episodes in the series.

- GoofsJamie says "Calvary" instead of "cavalry." Calvary is the crucifixion of Jesus, and a cavalry is a mobile group of soldiers. This is a common mispronunciation, especially by people with heavy New York accents.
