More mystery is revealed. And a shocking twist about one of the lady who is in control of the compound. Langdon motives and weird interviews with the people there are odd. Entertaining thats for sure.
The Morning After is more centered around horror rather than shock value like episode 1 tried to pull off. We start to get a taste of supernatural with a sense of magic looming around the compounds while Langdon is in the bunker. Not only are we treated with a creepy undertone we also get to see how our characters are developing.
Venable is more likeable in this episode than before and so is Mallory. Coco and Gallant still aren't as characters and Timothy Emily and Andre are all pretty stale so far. Lastly we have Evie and we get to see her true colors this episode making her two faced easily something to hate which is also why she seems to be a fan fave. She steals the show with her personality pretty easily.
A rendition or throwback to a season one character makes an appearance but he isn't exactly the same person underneath it all and that is quickly known right away when he appears.
The ending scene is something to shock and awe and leaves you asking for answers. This season might make up for the last two seasons but with a rocky start we'll see how much they can accomplish before the teased game changer with episode 6.

- TriviaAccording to the date on Micheal Langdons laptop, this season takes place in October 2021.
- GoofsWhile reading the email about Venable, there is a line that reads "she has deviated from operating protocols and insinuated her own rules [...]." But when Emily reads the line aloud, she uses the word "instituted" not "insinuated".
- Quotes
Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt: I have a rule against eating things with no legs or too many legs.
Andre Stevens: Oh, right, but you're fine eating something with two legs.
Mr. Gallant: For the last time, we didn't eat your boyfriend.
Ms. Miriam Mead: Eat it or don't. No one's gonna force it down you.
Dinah Stevens: Adversity makes strange bedfellows and worse dinner companions. It's food, and we're starving. We should be grateful for the fruits of the earth.
Evie Gallant: Well, steamed snake soup is actually quite delicious. It was the centerpiece of a dinner that I attended at the Royal Court in Kuala Lumpur with Gina Lollobrigida.
