This a good movie for a quiet night in, especially if you want something quirky and not too involved. Although the film lags in parts and is a bit slow getting started, the training scenes were fun and I wouldn't mind seeing further adventures of Tony and Daphne. Cami Varela, who plays Daphne, is good and I hope to see her in more prominent roles in the future.
This movie was solid. It would have benefitted from a higher budget but they did a great job with what they presumably given. The acting was tough in certain sections but storyline really carried the film. The concept of a deaf housewife turned hitman is pretty unique.
The film is slickly paced. Easily one of the best dark comedies I've ever seen which truly makes me feel villainous enjoying it so much. The personalities between the two main leads makes for a wonderful relationship. It's not a 10 but deserved a 8/10.
A buddy of mine mentioned this movie to me recently so I decided to check it out. I'm not a big indie flick kinda guy, but this one was decent. The acting is on par with most low budget productions. The movie is worth giving a watch, there are some pretty funny parts in the movie
Coming into this film, I had no set expectations on what I was going to watch. Overall, this is an enjoyable film that does well in story development and keeps the watcher entertained along the way. There is a lot of subtle humor that is sprinkled throughout the film that makes it a bit more enjoyable personally. The narrative is one that isn't necessarily new to the film industry, but the protagonist and their characteristics are definitely a new approach. I enjoyed most of the acting and character development. I can say that for an indie film, I give this film applaud and appraise for what they were able to do. If there are any negative aspects to the film, there were some shots that when cut, the actors were in different positions or the audio was off in dialogue. This wasn't a huge problem to my watching experience as this was minimal to what I saw. Overall, this is an impressive indie film and would definitely check it out if this genre is within your taste.
