If you're a fan of quirky, complicated and collaborative feature-length mysteries you will get a kick outta this one. Although the acting is bad-distracting versus bad-ridiculous in places, overall, this thing carries itself well and has enough purposeful (I am going to go ahead and assume) AND accidental issues both with continuity and structure that it gets you thinking AND laughing. Extremely fun film that you'll regret not taking the time to watch.
The film is very entertaining but I gave it 4 stars because the profanity was fluently expressed in this production and it's cringy at times.
Daphne is my fave character because it would just be the average dark genre of film without her.
The script was pretty decent just hoped the profanity would stop at some point in time, overall interesting.

Coming into this film, I had no set expectations on what I was going to watch. Overall, this is an enjoyable film that does well in story development and keeps the watcher entertained along the way. There is a lot of subtle humor that is sprinkled throughout the film that makes it a bit more enjoyable personally. The narrative is one that isn't necessarily new to the film industry, but the protagonist and their characteristics are definitely a new approach. I enjoyed most of the acting and character development. I can say that for an indie film, I give this film applaud and appraise for what they were able to do. If there are any negative aspects to the film, there were some shots that when cut, the actors were in different positions or the audio was off in dialogue. This wasn't a huge problem to my watching experience as this was minimal to what I saw. Overall, this is an impressive indie film and would definitely check it out if this genre is within your taste.
About the movie "Steele Wool" -- Well, the story is different. The heroes aren't heroes. They're offbeat characters. The acting is quite good. The film is worth watching.
The premise: What happens when a religious woman, a housewife, kills her abusive husband, who a gang of bad guys, who happen to be hit men, also want dead and have placed a reward on his head. Well, they see the housewife as a perfect assassin and hire her to kill people. This lady assassin doesn't mind killing bad guys, but after completing her first assignment she finds out the guy she killed was good guy, and she has remorse and her employers think a remorseful assassin is a risk to their organization, and so she becomes a liability to be eliminated, and so what happens next?
The lady is accompanied by dude, an ex-beau, who now sees her as a sister, and he and she, go on a dark, comical journey through a kind of hell, but do they find redemption at end? Well ... Watch the movie.
There's a lot of R-rated language.

This a good movie for a quiet night in, especially if you want something quirky and not too involved. Although the film lags in parts and is a bit slow getting started, the training scenes were fun and I wouldn't mind seeing further adventures of Tony and Daphne. Cami Varela, who plays Daphne, is good and I hope to see her in more prominent roles in the future.
