It is a must and should watch for crime/suspense/thriller genre lovers. The strength of the movie is the story, screenplay, dialogues and importance of every bits in the movie. The main negative thing is it's lengthy. It could have sliced in much better way. The song was not at all needed. The screenplay of the movie and VFX which is used are fresh. Kannada audience should support this type of movies so other makers can make like wise movies.

I have seen BIRBAL movie...fatastic, superb movie..Acting, Music,Direction,Camera, screenplay all are toooooo good...All those bird eye view shots are 👏👏👏...song also sooo beautifully visualized.. sarcastic touch is also good, being an actor, director srini sir had rocked the show... All the best for your future projects sir..👍

I didn't know about this film or the director, I'm from kerala and i watched birbal trilogy part 1 today. That's a real good work. I didn't expect that the actor is only the director as well. Hats off, the twits and turns were really good,i have seen Lucia,uturn, but this one was the best,Thank you for the amazing movie,asset of sandalwood, Congratulations and all the best yet more to come ..

Time when we are thirsty for binge worthy substantial content, this comes as a pleasant surprise! Was skeptical when I clicked on Watch now, but was stuck to the plot right from the beginning. Loved the Camera Work and angles, which we usually take for granted. Entertaining Dialogues and good acting.

The Based on True Story tag line at the beginning makes it even more mysterious, Bravo to the team! Enjoy the movie folks!

Yes, the story is adapted from Korean movie "New Trail". But there is a provision for fair-use given by the law. Both films are different from each other except the one-line plot story. "New Trail" is an emotional crime drama based on true event, at the other end "Birbal" is a crime thriller with completely different screenplay.

Evolving KFI haters are rating this movie as they wish. For me, this movie deserves above 9/10 imdb rating. Because the quality of making is top notch, edgy scenes, bgm, direction makes this a well defined thriller.

I watched Birbal Trilogy Part-1 upon recommendations from my friends. Initially I was hesitant to watch it, as it has not got much hype or recognition among the current Indian movies, but after watching this movie I was stunned! Brilliant acting by MG Srinivas plus a really gripping story that kept us hooked on until the very end. I have very rarely come across a storyline of this quality among Indian movies.

The only minus points were that there were too many antagonists and not all of them were given complete, fulfilling roles & the other point is the length of the movie should have been trimmed to less than 2 hrs - the movie felt too time consuming.

Overall, it is a brilliant movie that deserves more recognition & I believe the movie director-cum-hero MG Srinivas has a very bright future ahead.

Birbal is a real edge of the seat mystery thriller which focuses on an advocate who started facing various threats when he decided to help A man who is wrongly accused of a murder. The film has the potential to keep you engage with every frame with its amazing Editing, Direction, and Storyline. Like every other Kannada film, The best part is its incredible screenplay and storytelling. The performances, the dialogues, The twists & turns are top-notch. Good well narrated thriller. Directed well Can watch once

These kind of movies are very rare in sandalwood. This movie havent failed to keep the thrill till the climax, though we feel few points could have been better, story of the film just fades everything away. Script is brilliantly built and showing the perceptions of the victim - lawyer - and the narrator is excellent. This is a must watch movie for all the suspense-thriller movie lovers. Actors have justified their characters. Climax is too good and doesn't even give a hint of any spoiler. That's the best part. Wholely loved the movie. And it was great to watch such a suspense thriller after a long time in Kannada film industry. Totally worth the time. Though this film revolves around a guy who have been punished for a crime which have not been done by him, it also depicts how innocents are deflamed in acts and how people with money and position rule. Hero helps the guy and proves that he is not the criminal. But a poor boy who was fitted in the scene.
