A shuttle crew walks into the cave of a primitive being to find an advanced version of Alexa. 10 episodes with only the first 2 and the last 2 worth watching.I skipped the 6 in the middle. They were plot filler.
The only thing I can say about the abysmal science in this fiction is at least rockets in space make no noise.
Give it a pass.
They managed to get some tension and a decent plot development, finally. If they get rid of the teenage love drama stuff and replace with som harcore sci-fi this show could be good.
"Oh hey, these aliens seem to be tens of thousands of years more advanced than us"
"Can you hack them?"
"Sure thing mate, give me five seconds. And, done!"
Well 9 episodes that I loathed, to varying degrees, for a finale I found mildly satisfying.
Nobody becomes more likable, sane, or basically sentient. Certainly any reasonable viewer walks away hoping for the complete extermination of the human race and the destruction of Earth and all that inhabit it.
Still, at least some stuff happened that didn't completely depend on what vermin the crew are.
Almost against my better judgement I do want to see what happens next, while simultaneously hoping every writer, director, and anyone with any input in the first nine episodes gets sent back to whatever cinemographic hellpit they spawned from.

I can't understand why this show is receiving so hate, the plot is good, the story is refreshing, the authors did a great job. We finally have a story that treat the alien contact With us in a believable way. If you like sci-fi, give this show a shot.

William: Its brain, or its hard drive, is located here in this hub. A tiny fusion reactor provides an indefinite supply of energy. In comparison, on the Salvare our reactor's the size of a baby elephant.
Zayn Petrossian: We're basically earthworms compared to the Achaia?
William: Earthworms? Don't flatter yourself.
