Great premise and great subject, but massively rushed.

The first half is outstanding, but it&#39;s conclusion was too rushed, too preachy and a bit too improbable. An interesting lead-in to Season 5, though.

Night Watch

This was a great, thought provoking episode on the danger of accidental nuclear war. It&#39;s also great that they cited some past examples where we were almost incinerated by mistake. The shot of Elizabeth and Henry silently holding each other while watching their kids, thinking they we all about to die just tears at your heart.<br/><br/>My problem with this episode is pacing. The aftermath, the debate around disarming missiles, the president&#39;s speech to the nation. And the subsequent agreement with the Russians was a blink and it&#39;s over moment. There&#39;s just too much here to fit in a single 43 minute episode. It would have been epic had they made this a two or three episode arc where they could have explored the buildup and aftermath more completely, and with more countries involved, like the Chinese.
