The director needs to be fired, does not zoom in on the board when there are still blanks to be filled. We see enough of the host and contestants throughout the show, let's see more of the board. Host JMH tries too much to be cool and witty, and needs to chill on the paltry FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS (for 4 people?) said way too often. Sorry to be so negative, but would be a good show if they fix these flaws, in my opinion.
I like the show and I like John Michael Higgins. But if you can't afford to pay out the big prize at the end, then maybe rework the business model or find more funding. Don't make people guess words like "jackalope". Are you fu**ing kidding me?
I like the show. My 8 year old grandson along with the rest of the family enjoy playing. I do think the winning team should receive some money for each correct answer in final round instead of having to get 10 right answers to win the $15,000. How about at least $100 per right answer.
I've searched long and hard to determine from where their answers come, but to no avail! Some of their answers are totally absurd! ...and why isn't the "Grand Prize" easily divisible by four, such as $16,000 (or $20,000) for instance?!
I always thought this show looked dumb on the commercials but I started watching it and it grows on you. John Michael Higgins is a good host. He has a nice dry sense of humor and makes funny, witty comments when contestants give ridiculous answers. He is also very professional, unlike Steve Harvey. It's entertaining trying to guess the blanks and can be pretty challenging. Whoever wins gets $1,000 (divided by 4 people = $250 if you lose) And if you win you get an additional $15,000, so total $16,000 (divided by 4 only $4,000 each) and it's never a whole family, it's always a mix or a group of 4 friends, neighbors, coworkers, etc. So maybe if the prize was at least like $60k that would be better cause then it'd be $15,000 per person. And they should make the first prize higher too. Most people don't even win the grand prize. Overall it's okay when nothing else is on. I'd still rather watch family feud though.
