Beautiful.
I throughly enjoyed the music but the character building was severely lacking. I needed more backstory for these characters/relationships to really, truly FEEL for them. Which was sad because I was thrilled by the diversity of the characters and backgrounds. I got a glimpse of who these people were, but that was all. I wanted more.

This is based on the first three episodes so my opinion may change as more episodes release.
I am a huge Sara Bareilles fan. I love all her songs, and the Little Voice soundtrack is no exception (I especially love Dear Hope). The storyline is enjoyable, and it's great to see diversity in not only the cast but the topics discussed in each episode.
Having new songs in each episode is a great idea! The use of music and lyrics is a dimension that adds much more color into the key themes and topics.
The mini plots shed light on a wide variety of issues, but the range of topics might be a bit ambitious for a 30 min tv show. They can sometimes feel a bit rushed or sometimes missing out on opportunities to juxtapose song lyrics/musicality with key scenes and moments in Bess' life.
Overall, I like the show and love the music and cast. The music really keeps the series together.

Lovely show. Sara Bareilles music shines bright in this beautifully crafted show.
I am a 55 year old rancher in Texas. I loved this as much - if not more than - than my wife and daughter. She was just amazing Great story. Fantastic music.
