The storyline of this movie is fine. The scenery is spectacular, although all of this beauty could not naturally all be contained in one local. (The featured couple is in the middle of a lake, and magically spots river otters in the middle of the lake - I think not...) But the most offensive aspect of this movie was the "planting" of artificial flowers in way too many scenes. We've seen this in a number of Hallmark movies, usually in street scenes along sidewalks, or in front of homes. But this was a nature movie, and they show a mountain lake with a typically rocky/sandy beach, and fake flower stuck in the sand! These weren't even imitating wildflowers; they were fake garden flowers! Hallmark - let nature's beauty speak for itself. Cut the plastic flowers!
Judging by the other user reviews, I am swimming against the current, but I liked the movie .
I liked all the characters. Great ensemble cast. And bonus, the scenery was beautiful (sunrise over the mountain, reflecting on a peaceful lake)'
The script was predictable but was entertaining and flowed easily from beginning to end.
No it ain't Shakespeare, but that's not what I'm looking for in a Hallmark film, If I wanted Shakespeare I would be watching Henry V or The Taming of the Shrew. (great plays by the way) I am also swimming against the current here as a woman who actually likes The Taming of the Shrew.
That being said, back to the movie,
I thought Emily Ullerup as Katie and Christopher Russell as WIll had great chemistry and I enjoyed all their scenes together.. And Chrstopher Russell has a great smile. He smiles and something melts inside me.
Hallmark movies take me away from the hum drum of daily life, I get to escape from the dirty dishes in the sink and the clothes in the dryer for a while.
My advice: watch the movie, sit back and enjoy the Hallmark cliches , it's worth it just to see Christopher Russell smile.

The scenery in this movie is beautiful. I like both of the lead characters as I have seen them in other HM movies. BUT..... together they have ZERO chemistry and both act kinda goofy...
I normally enjoy the lead, this movie not so much.
Not sure if it was the script, overall cast or the cinematic approach to hide a pregnancy.
The male lead came across like,he was posing for a tourism guide.
The leads chemistry, seemed wooden & awkward.
I can see in a tv series a pregnancy, being worked around or into a script..
Why didn't filming be postponed as the lead for,a nature/adventure storyline was very pregnant.
We expect a certain formula, but hope at least some effort is put into it.
One enjoyable aspect,beautiful scenery.
I am a 46 year old man that watches a lot of movies. My main preferences are Horror, Sci-Fi, Mystery and Comedy.
With that said; - i really liked this movie!
Perhaps i am getting old and turning soft, but i am watching - and liking - more and more of these Hallmark movies. Most of them have silly, simple and similar content; Girl meets boy. Girl and boy clash regarding something. Girl and boy forgive each other and becomes a couple.
But - if you are watching a Hallmark movie - then THAT is what you WANT and EXPECT from the movie.
Just a romantic movie about a couple finding each other.
