Wow, what a fantastic episode! Very daring to portray society as it is quickly becoming, a society of severe mobile phone addicts and a society that finds an excuse for everything that's wrong with them although of course it's never their fault. People spending more than 8 hours a day watching a phone is simply weird and out of this world, and it's unlikely that 50% of the population all of a sudden has severe anxiety problems, so 'yes' an excuse to be lazy, lame and disconnect from society - well said! So, all of you out there, keep rating this episode as low as you want, but realize you're only doing that because South Park is showing you a mirror image you simply don't want to see or admit to. Again, love it to bits! Now, where's my phone?
Have a sense of humour! This episode is epic and eye-opening! That is well said about anxiety and how most people misuse it and take advantage of it! The song at the end is just wow!!! It takes you to the wisdom! If we can't understand the message yet, we are absolutely dumb!
That much creativity is insane! Kudos to the writers! South Park is great most of the time, but this episode, its message, the way of expression and the song at the end are excellent!
The impact of overusing and the addiction to phones, how people make excuses for their addiction, and how they keep blaming and Messing up their work and missing great opportunities are well shown in this 'Buddha Box' episode!

Well people, here I am reviewing again. Without my glasses, it's been too long since I've seen a movie in theaters. This episode features Cartman being diagnosed with anxiety. The very first scene of the episode is Cartman recapping what's been happening in the previous episodes. The shootings, ManBearPig, everything. I thought this would be a satire of Buddhism or Eastern religions.
It really wasn't. Well, maybe I'm not familiar with them enough to understand the jokes. The best part might be the "Muppet Babies" parody with the PC babies. I feel dumb for not checking for new episodes in the past month. The ending is surprisingly heartwarming. This was quite entertaining even if it wasn't one of the best episodes. ***1/2

I waited two weeks for this episode only to find myself asleep before the first advert break. I've since watched the whole thing and I'm less than impressed.
As others have pointed out, it's centred around PC culture again, though I don't necessarily see that as the issue with the episode. Ten years ago, South Park would have ruthlessly annihilated the insane elements of the society we're living in today, but this show, along with everything else, has fallen victim to the sort of progression being referenced in this episode.
When it comes to this particular topic, Instead of ridiculing it, it's almost as if they're just affirming that these people exist.. They should either attack the issue or completely leave it alone, because glorifying these characters with arcs and excessive screen time in a non-demeaning fashion doesn't seem to interest many people.
I hate to say it, but as a longtime fan, I wouldn't mind if the show was to end after this season.

I loved it and could not stop laughing, really hit the nail on the head with this one!
