Beautiful Animation, story was predictable after the trailer
Fan of the director/creator of this. Always love his animation both traditional and cgi. It was just beautiful to see this kind of animation again and done well. Cast was great and I did have some laughs. In today's world when you have raunchy movies you get the idea of simple and predictable story telling. It's why I rank this lower. You had an idea before it happens on screen. These movies are made for adults (def no kids allowed watching this). I don't get why they don't put a little more depth in comedies like this (I see a lot of people comparing sausage party to this which I think very different but def some similarities). I highly recommend if you enjoy animation. Story wise you aren't getting anything complex. Again there is def laughs but not enough.
Raunchy but passionate
I feel that the movie was judged too fast based on the slap together Netflix trailers. Sure it's raunchy with a simple story, but I really like that we got an original 2D animated film that's manages to be its own thing with a cool cast of characters and a great animation style. After hearing how long it took Genndy to get this thing made I couldn't help but feel the passion in every frame. Well maybe not every frame. Still a little upset it got robbed from its theatrical release, but at least it didn't get shelved.
Hilarious
It's very obvious from the first minute that this is a adult animation and you need to go into it with that in mind. This movie is funny as hell and if you're a fan of South Park level comedy you'll love it. Despite the humor it actually has a great plot with everything you could ask for in this kind of adult comedy.
Sausage Party
I think that in the end of the day, a comedy has achieved its purpose if it makes you laugh. And this silly film made me so. It's not remarkable, but it's not forgettable either.
There are two or three moments where it really made me laugh out loud.
It amazes me that it was written and directed by Gendy Tartakovsky, because I'm used to a very different kind of work from him.
Give it a chance, but know that it's not for everyone. If you liked the Sausage Party, you'll enjoy this one too (Mexican double meaning).

Fixed
Cannot be viewed seriously, take it for what it is...
A foul-mouthed comedy in cartoon format about a dog about to have his bits off...
It's like South Park meets lady and the tramp...
I caught the kids watching it a quickly had to turn it off but decided to watch it later in the evening. Killed some time but can't say I'd watch it again.

- TriviaGenndy Tartakovsky wanted the animation to be reminiscent of Disney's Lady and the Tramp (1955), while also drawing inspiration from the works of Tex Avery and Chuck Jones' Looney Tunes shorts, particularly due to their emphasis on expressive animation.
- GoofsAfter hitting Bull with her car, Honey's owner should have recognized him as her neighbors' dog and taken him home, following the dog show.
