This was a nice surprise, didn't expect much, but it is very watchable for a low budget indie film and the acting is not as bad as in many other low budget movies.

If you need expensive cgi and explosions this is definitely not for you, but if you like a slower paced sci-fi wodunnit you should give it a try.

The film has a fantastic story, albeit a cyclical one which makes little to no sense by the end. I assume that there is a "deep" and profound symbolism and meaning in the mind of the writer to be found with like minded individuals, but it was lost on me, The flow of the film was confused and perhaps that was intended to keep the viewers mind disoriented in order to keep ends loose for a huge final reveal, but even at the end there are too many end still not addressed or explained. The entire point of the great "experiment" that is the plot itself goes undiscovered.

Intentionally or not the entire cast of characters are an assembly of totally unsympathetic individuals, so much so that their misfortunes strike no chord of emotion to the viewer, one finds themself not really caring what happens to any of them by the end.

The prevailing feeling is dislike for all of them and the overwhelming emotion of sheer boredom tinge with the hope that it all ends soon.

I gave it 4 stars because the actors were all very good in conveying their characters and came across in making the viewer dislike all of them, which I think was the intention of the film???

It was NOT a totally waste of time, but it was most definitely a let down in the end!

As a directorial debut for a full length film (at least according to IMDB) not too bad. Yeah, but not really good either. It goes back to my biggest pet peeve ... it starts with the script. Some of the 'short' cuts you can take in shorts (the directors' prior efforts) do NOT translate. Or to say it another way, part of the movie experience is about the suspension of disbelief. If the viewer is constantly distracted by words, actions, and situations that do not make sense, they are going to leave. This script is full of problems, which is sad. The script is the single cheapest way to make a bad movie good ... or if unwilling to put in the time and effort, to make a potential good movie a dud.

Yeah, there appears to be some thespiatic talent, and the cinematography has potential. But its not there yet, and its not good enough to fix a flawed script.

And for those of you wondering how this movie received so many good reviews, do some quick research. MANY of the 7/8/9/10 stars are from accounts that have only provided a single ranking, just for this movie. So one or more of the crews' friends thought botting this movie would be a cool idea. And as such, my rating will be dropped a point to help make the overall rating more realistic.

Low budget but good ideas. The executive producer did a really good job with this. I can't wait to see what this team produces in the future ... they are only going to get better.

The pace of this movie is slow, very slow.

Some decisions in this movie were complete insane, and would have never be done when they were a real survivor group.

Sometimes they are really stupid.

For instance, you have a door with a digital lock, where you can enter 3 digits, so ranging from 000 to 999, and one of the guys say, oh no, there are 1000's of combinations.

So several thousand... Really?

The film is not good obviously, but certainly not bad either, I have seen worse, much worse.

It is just too slow, like the brain of the producer was in cryo state as well...
