    Azrael - Angel of Death

Azrael is the angel of death in Islam. I don't know why this episode is named after it. But this episode shows some true colors of life indeed. Hindu Muslim conflict is in south Asia's history for centuries. Still conflicts occur, mobs kill people of the other religion. This episode portrays it nicely.

In no other land even pretending to be civilized could a boy be lynched to death in the streets amid the savage exultation of its inhabitants.

My earlier review which got more than 100 likes, which i posted on 22 August 2019 got deleted cos the fascist fellas in my beautiful India cannot digest opinions.

This episode shows the true colors of Guruji as the mad cult leader more sinister, more evil n worse than Jim Jones.

Forget Guruji n Jim Jones, we have a baba in my beautiful India who endorses pseudoscience n claims to have cures for HIV, Cancer, Homosexuality, etc but no action is taken against him.

This episode also speaks about the horrific rape perpetrated against Asifa Bano, an 8-year-old girl by brutal men in the name of religion. The rape is not shown but the message is conveyed.

It also shows the brutal daylight lynching of a Muslim boy in the name of religion. The scene is horrific n gut wrenching.

This episode also showcases Saif's acting. After the brutal lynching of the boy, his facial expressions n his eyes admit that mayb Guruji is right about the world's condition where innocents r killed. That is some solid acting there man.

Hats off to Neeraj Ghaywan, Kashyap, Motwane, Netflix n the entire cast n crew of this web series for subtly conveying the message n showing the horrific realities co existing with us.
