Watching Tamron cut-off her guests as they are speaking, being openly hostile and combative is awkward to watch! I want to hear from the guests, but they aren't allowed to finish a thought without a smug comment from the host. I loved Tamron on Deadline Crime so I was looking forward her this show, but I can't. Tamron struggles to ask the tough questions without coming off as she is attacking. It can't be an easy thing to do, but those are the shows that are most successful, unless you're funny like Ellen.
Why didn't you talk to a real truck driver? The gal you interviewed probably hadn't been driving for a couple of years. Nobody has ever waved or hooked at me. I've been driving since I was 17 and now I'm 60. People still cut me off and raise their hand at me. I drive an 91KW. The one you interviewed must be lieing to you.
I think Tamron Hall knows how to interview and I enjoy her interview style. She is prepared and will confront when needed. This is not a fluffy entertainment show, but more of a news/culture show.
I like her charisma and her proficiency at her job, as so many talk show hosts today seem to wing it. I don't watch daily because so many of her topics are geared to women or black culture. So I tune in on days that have topics that interest me. I like it so much better now that she is sitting to interview and not standing in the audience pre interviews as was the case 1st season.
She does need to let her guests speak more and not always have to bring her issues into it. She recently interviewed Paul Holes , cold case officer, and she babbled the whole time. That's when I change the channel.

This show is fun and the topics are interesting as well as informative. The issues I have with Tamron's interview skills is the repetitive statements about her years in journalism yet she struggles with being able to gain control of the conversations without being rude toward the other person. I am happy Tamron is confident in herself and her gifts to share with others to provide inspiration.
I wanted to like this show. I like ABC and I love the morning line up. I didn't mind they took away Rachael Ray, but was hoping I could vibe with her. I don't. Here are some of the reasons.
1) She talks over guests. She acts superior and when she has people on the show who know more than her, she feels like she needs to puff her chest.
2) she stands in the crowd above her guests which, to me, makes it so she above them.
3) she's a know it all.
4) her topics are boring. I want to wake up in the morning. Not fall asleep.
5) she plays devils advocate too often for people who don't deserve it.
3) in I think the third episode she called on someone to speak and the girl excitedly touched the mic and she snapped at her and said "I hold the microphone, this is my microphone"
Bring back Racheal or give us something to look forward too.
