I'm from an older generation and from another nation, where the freedom to be true to oneself is not entirely guaranteed or protected. Trixie and Katya go that huge and vital step forward, beyond Ru Paul's successful commercialization of drag, to making every aspect of being the opposite of "normal" valid and real. It's impossible not to love them.
This is a show about everything and anything really. Just two biological women talking about random stuff, telling stories, sharing opinions on things and giving advice. Not always good advice, but still... I've been a fan of Katya since I first watched season 7 of RPDR and became a fan of Trixie in time, thanks to this show. Their interaction with each other and relationship is so natural and fun to watch.
Most of the time the conversations are all over the place. Sometimes hard to follow if you can't catch the references, but that's not a big problem. The only "big" problem I have with it is that this messiness is a bit much sometimes. Yes, chaos can be fun, but sometimes it gets overwhelming and even unbearable. Still a good show.

This show is the culmination of Katya and Trixie Mattel from season 7 of Rupauls drag race, and all stars two/three. Both Brians are hilarious and the fantastic editing of their skits really gives the show that little kick. There is a reason this web series has the most total views of any YouTube webseries. One note that you may notice, some people may not find this web series very amusing as the show is curated to an LGBT audience, so viewers who cannot relate to the queens or skits in general may not receive this web series enthusiastically. (You may notice this in the reviews themselves) Long story short, if drag is your cup of tea you will not be able to stop watching this hysterical web series, if you're heterosexual and confused as to how you found your way here, maybe not.
It's not often that a show gets better and better with every episode, highly recommended.

- TriviaAs a running gag, Katya mentions the film Contact (1997) at random, sometimes inappropriate times, much to Trixie's annoyance. In the episode "Space", Katya wears an outfit with the film's theatrical poster as its design, and promised not to mention the movie ever again (a promise she has broken a few times since). They mention an idea about having a viewing party of the film (because Trixie hadn't ever seen it), but at the UNHhhhh DragCon 2019 Trixie stated she had watched it and thought it was great "although I don't think we needed to talk about it as long as we did".
