"kids" movie

Xander DeWitt (Jace Norman) keeps getting into trouble after his father went missing. His mother sends him to live with his grandpa (Ed Begley Jr.) and attend Bixler Valley High. His search for his father also happens to lead to the same place, his father's home town Bixler Valley. Know-it-all student Kenzie Messina (Ariel Martin) is his new rival and partner.

This is a silly Nickelodeon movie. There is a quest. The mystery is semi-compelling. The 'kids' are fine. At least, they're still teenagers. It does have Ed Begley Jr. It's lower TV production. The writing is good for a kid's movie although it does border on supervillain plot. It's silly but that's expected.

Great Teenage Film

This is a great teenage film for all viewers to watch. The storyline of this teenage film was different and original. The crew did an alright job in creating this teenage film. It was different from the other Nickelodeon teenage films. The cast selection was fine enough. I am a fan of Jace Norman and Ariel Martin. The chemistry between them was strong and they work well together. They both have great huge careers ahead of them. It seemed like the character that Jace Norman played was outside his comfort zone from the other characters that he played in Nickelodeon. This teenage film reveald to viewers that everyone will go as far as they can for something. This is a fine teenage film for everyone to watch.

I'm Pretty High on the Eye

Jace Norman's newest film Bixler High Private Eye is a low budget simple production. However, for the first time in perhaps years, young Mr. Norman is allowed to act-and that performance carries the movie. Anyone who has watched Jace in the early episodes of HENRY DANGER can see that he has a lot of talent, comic timing, and even has a knack for physical comedy. However, lately on "Danger," the show is more silly than funny. His character Henry/Kid Danger doesn't really act anymore. He is engaged in far too much overlapping ridiculous dialogue with "Captain Mann." But in this film, he doesn't have to do things to get a laugh every 20 seconds. Jace is surrounded by a competent cast and a reasonably interesting story-he's even allowed to display a bit of drama. Right now Jace Norman is a teen idol, a heartthrob if they still use those terms. So he's allowed to look good, act cool, and attract the girl in the story. He does all of those things very well in Bixler High Private Eye.
