O Brother, Where Art Thou?

How is Lillian Lex's mum when there's only a five year age gap between the actress and the actor who plays them. When did she have him? When she was 10 years old?

However despite the age difference I like the casting for Lex but just felt Brenda Strong is too young to play Lex's biological mother.

Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor is just what the Supergirl series needed. The first half of the season is filled with political commentary that was really getting old. I got to the end of this episode and thought "Now, we're talking!" I can only imagine how much better the rest of the season will be.b

The episode introduces Lex Luthor which was a fun interesting take on the character. And the direction it ends for the rest of the series. Meanwhile, Manchester plots to cut power to the city. Which Supergirl and Jonn try to stop him.

Supergirl is not the most consistent show when it comes to quality, but as far as this casting and this episode they have outdone themselves.

Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) is dying because he exposed himself to kryptonite trying to kill Superman a few years ago, and his only hope is the black kryptonite a.k.a. Harun-El project that Lena Luthor has been working of but has not perfected, yet an emergency situation might force Lena to speed up the process and come up with a cure.

Jon Cryer excels at playing Lex Luthor, he is evil, deceitful, cunning, and most importantly he lacks conscience. But most importantly Cryer plays the character with the seriousness and respect such a powerful presence deserves, and we then get the Lex Luthor we deserve, and the one we need right now on the series.

He has upped the threat levels, and because of his performance I give this episode a 10 out of 10... I cannot wait to see where he takes this amazing interpretation next.

Well.. it supposed to be tragic due to the fact that it was Lex Luthor... but since Alan Harper joined the team, things got funny! No, there is no way you can put Alan harper to play the villain.. he is an idiot! :)
