The absolute WORST Lifetime I've ever seen. I've never left a review for LT before (and they can be pretty bad) but I just had to do this. Liz was painful to watch - some of the worst acting ever. And it was hard to stop staring at the puffed up lips and mouth gestures. And the Dad was nearly as bad. This is, of course, is not to mention the horrible, inconceivable plot line.
I´m giving this 5 stars because I find it underrated, however, it´s only because it´s so bad it´s great! I got thrills from the bad writing and chills from the bad acting. Someone went above and beyond to make this movie absolutely ridiculous (but everyone looks beautiful and the lighting and camera work is top notch). It´s about a woman who gets accused, arrested and prosecuted for killing her husband without any evidence, motive or investigation. And she´s supposed to be a former attorney/d.a who hasn´t worked in 10 years (Annalynne looks much too young for this to be possible) and has forgotten, along with all the other characters in the movie, how the law regarding everything works. It´s all pretty funny but it´s also scary if the people who made it were trying to be serious. But for the lifetime fan who knows all the cliches and expects to be entertained by something other than great and thrilling film-making, this is the perfect little gem. The ending (or last half hour more like) will make you cringe beyond anything you could imagine (don´t judge, some of us are into that).
It is hard to put into words how bad this movie is. It is soo bad, it makes me angry! Everything about it is atrocious. The plot, acting, and strange music that is used is just terrible.
The acting was so bad that I thought literally every person in the movie was guilty.
It's awful and nothing about it is remotely believable. Annalynne's acting is amusing because she's basically Naomi in everything but that's not necessarily a negative on Lifetime. However, it's a negative here. So much overacting and it's hard to take her seriously. I didn't buy her as the mom of those kids and the way the movie played out, I don't get why they were there.
As for the plot, it just gets more and more absurd as the movie progresses. It actually started off promising when she wakes up and finds Andrew gone and there is some suspense that builds as she realizes something isn't right. But after that, nothing makes sense. I imagined that the writers sat around the table, tossing a ball and whoever caught it had to add onto the plot with the most absurd plot point. The court and jail scenes gave me extreme secondhand embarrassment for all involved, the twist pissed me off, and the ending was so anticlimactic and heavy-handed that I regretted watching it. This is not a repeat watch flick. It's just not a so bad it's good movie. In fact, repeat viewing might reveal even more stupidity. The movie was just lazily put together.

- GoofsToward the beginning of the movie when she wakes to her husband missing, the blood on the main female character's neck switched between her right and her left in various scenes. This is incorrect, and wrongly regarded as a goof. The only time the blood appears on the right side of Liz's neck is when she is washing her hands: she looks up at the bathroom mirror and we discovers the blood with her, from her mirrored perspective.
