Up until this episode, Deke was no where near my top 20 list of favorite characters. But his character has redeemed himself (some) after having a whining third wheel feel through the previous season.
As far as the 80s references go, if you don't laugh at least once then you are either too young to remember the 80s or have never watched an 80s movie in your life.
Yes a lot 80s movies are cheesy by today's standards, but you gotta love how they hit every 80s genre possible in this episode. This was truly fun to watch.

I really don't like how they have depicted Mac on this show. He presents himself as half-competent and kind of mean to others. He is judgmental, critical with little sense of humor. He always seems angry at someone. His depiction and his many flaws make it hard to believe in him as a leader.
One of the weakest episode of this show and definitely the worst of the season. There was no coherence in the episode things just happened and I get that they're doing a "80's episode" and of course the comedy bits they gonna do is outdated but I still mehed and might even cringed at some cliche haha momets.
At least the gore scenes and the excessive blood shower scenes was kinda funny and cool.
This episode felt like it was written by some amateurs because it's nothing like the brilliant writing of previous seasons especially season 4.
But hey, at least with the last scene we know the kidnapping plot line from prev episode wasn't pointless and du,mb.
Al in all I'm disappointed with this episode they kinda sacrificed substance and good material over style. Hope next episodes are good and the finale don't disappoint.

This was the most fun and pure joy I had watching Agents of shield with few sad moments of course because it's an AoS episode. Deke and Mack are a surprisingly fun duo, I just loved the way they worked together and how the episode helped progress both characters.
Oh and shoutout to the cheesy robot kills, my favorite part!
Ok so I would understand younger people not getting some of the references. But as someone that saw 80's movies back in the 80's they did a great job. I'm liking the whole way the episodes this season are staged in the style of the time they're in.
I know earlier seasons were quite serious but it's a refreshing break to see them not taking it too seriously. Good to see them taking chances and being creative.
