Cobra

The first half is fun, excited keeps you completely on one side, the other half will force you to go home.

Positive thing: Vikram sir's performance, great visuals, strong story, VFX, action, above all mathematical assessment.

Negative Thing: Rahman sir's rote music, love episodes, useless songs, unnecessarily story analysis. Long stretches of time There was no need for long unintended of cinema.

Still, there are some such scenes that your money gets recovered, I don't wants to be spoiler, yet the scene of Rassia is my favorite one Overall Vikram sir's die-hard will not be disappointed like vijay devrakonda's.

Thadam, What happened to Monday and split movie - combined Cobra.

Vikram acting was good but remembering Anniyan.

Fresh out of Ajay Gnanamuthu's Cobra, and it honestly feels like I watched 2 entirely different movies pre and post interval. We start off with a somewhat underworld assassin crime thriller of sorts, which while over the top at moments, had its fair share of enjoyable bites. And then with the interval, we have what feels like an entirely new movie; one that feels like every other wannabe-posh Tamil action movie, where some characters already established in the first half start acting nothing like it in the second, and some more being entirely sidelined making us wonder why they were even included in the first place.

I wouldn't say Cobra is a bad movie, nor that its not enjoyable, but it's not groundbreaking in any way. It just gets ridiculously over the top with every passing minute, building up to a mind numbingly lazy and disappointing climax. Technically too this movie has a lot of weaknesses. The music is very easily forgettable, which sad given how such a statement could even be said about an ARR composed soundtrack. The VFX was painfully apparent in some scene. The makeup got somewhat cheesy, never leaving the uncanny valley; where you know you're not looking at an actual human face, but a heavily pasted prosthetic. And even certain shot selections seemed questionable.

Being as critical as I am about this movie is only because I engaged with it enough to care about its own internal consistencies. It's certainly not a movie you'll ever regret watching in a theatre, but it's not one you'll miss out on if you don't either.

Once again Vikram gave dedicative performance in a average movie . Story was good but screenplay was poor and clumsy . First half , had some intresting assassination sequence , romance part was totally meh and interval twist was good . Second half was totally clumsy writing . Direction wasn't upto the mark . Main positive was Interrogation room hallucination scene particularly Vikram gave a impressive performance in that scene . ARR music was good and eventhough songs were good its placement was poor in the movie . Technically , editing was poor and visually not appealing for ME . Finally , they tried something different in commercial cinema unfortunately misfired .

Firstly there is no Built in English subtitles so it's impossible to understand foreign fan like us. Secondly they forcefully inserted tamil language in the English dialogues. They've made a great mistake by not adding the sub , I admit the story is good but the makers should think about the non tamil region .Also forcefully inserted Tamil is so disgusting. Hence, it's my humble request that the English subtitled version should be Released as soon as possible so that we, the foreign viewers enjoy the masterpiece of Vikram sir . We'll be very thankful to the director and all the people who were attached with this film.
