That scene when nolan remembered the past and memorys of his son was golden I cried
oh my god this is a perfect episode
10/10.
Last week I knew it was going be hard to top that episode... But I knew they would and they definitely did! It almost felt as a movie. The last two episodes combined have been some of the best work ever, for any show. I can't wait for next season!
This confrontation was pretty brutal in the comics, but the show was somehow even more graphic... Everybody behind the storyboards really kicked it up to 11. There are certain things I never thought I'd see in television or movies like this that are SO HARD to watch. This was so upsetting and graphic that I almost looked away for most of it. And we haven't even gotten to the most brutal sections of Kirkman's comics yet...
I also got surprisingly emotional. This show is really bringing out everything I loved about the comics and doing some of it much better in some ways. I think they've done a great job of establishing the main characters, and even Rex got some moments to shine.
I liked all of the voice work, the animation was mostly clean and flawless, and the heart and soul of what I liked about the original source material is present. I really loved this first season. I'll gladly watch more.

I really really love how this whole series is edited. Ep. 8 takes the madness from last episode and elevates it, then puts it on crack.
I keep comparing this series to the boys, for obvious reasons. I am beginning to think omni man is more sadistic than homelander.
Brilliant voice acting by the cast and so many emotions felt.
I just hope they stop doing the weekly episode release and release Se2 all in one go.

Amazing episode full of gore and action without losing the characters' human touch.

Omni-Man: Why did you make me do this? You're fighting so you can watch everyone around you die! Think, Mark! You'll outlast every fragile, insignificant being on this planet. You'll live to see this world crumble to dust and blow away! Everyone and everything you know will be gone! What will you have after 500 years?
Invincible: You, Dad. I'd still have you.
