    Pathetic !

"Sharma Ji Ke Beti" is a film that attempts to explore contemporary social issues but falls flat due to its irresponsible portrayal of underage characters. The movie is marred by inappropriate dialogues and behaviors exhibited by children, which not only feels forced but also deeply uncomfortable.

The narrative, which could have been an insightful commentary on societal norms, is overshadowed by the shock value of these interactions. Instead of contributing meaningfully to the story, the explicit dialogues delivered by young actors serve as a distraction and raise questions about the ethical considerations of such portrayals.

The performances, despite the talent of the young actors, are overshadowed by the distasteful script. It's unfortunate to see their potential wasted on such material. The direction and writing show a lack of sensitivity and awareness, failing to balance the need for realism with the necessity of protecting the innocence of its young characters.

Overall, "Sharma Ji Ke Beti" misses the mark significantly. The film's reliance on inappropriate content undermines any message it might have intended to convey. It's a disappointing watch, especially given the ethical issues involved in the depiction of children in such a manner.

A Perfect Watch in today's world!

    It was a fantastic watch.

Movies are a perfect mirror of whatever is happening in society, which the movie portrays positively.

We should always learn from a woman's life to learn more about human complexity and life.

The movie beautifully portrays different age groups of women and what kind of problems they go through. It shows how, in this fast-paced world, everyone is going through their problems but still is present for each other.

The movie hasn't put down the other gender as well. It shows how the right person will always support you.

No violence, crime, or item song, and still it has done a great job.

Everyone should watch it and learn from it.

I wanted to watch the movie because they used the song "Khudi by The Local Train," but it was great.

    Beautiful feminist movie

Loved every bits of it. Personally feel that the story line is relatable to every woman. The film broke stereotypes attached to many typical characters and topics of our lives.

It shows the importance of career as well as family life and showed how it is possible for a woman to achieve her dreams with the right kind of support from society including family members and friends.

Loved how it normalized coming out to your family as LGBTQ+ and also normalized talking about periods, pleasure, romance etc.

Saw some reviews saying it is irresponsible for "underage" actors, but it is important to remember that menstruation is beginning as early as eight years of age in children. The movie normalized the stressful situations anyone with a vagina go through during such emotional upheaval.

Loved the way the characters broke stereotypes - mother of the character in Patiala, the working class woman, the stay at home wife, husbands. Literally the movie felt like it healed a lot of people who had difficult times in family while growing up and also while balancing work with their families.

Must watch for every woman and I really wish that the male audience would watch it with more empathy and try to understand this perspective without condemning the film as "boring".

A solid movie about basic struggle of women in fun manner

I always enjoy watching female-oriented movies that are either packed with a message or offer a fun-filled ride, and this one falls into both categories.

The story revolves around two daughters and three women who share the Sharma surname. One narrative follows a working-class woman, played brilliantly by Sakshi Tanwar, dealing with her teenage daughter, Vanshika Taparia. Vanshika has a meaty role in the movie and shines throughout. Sharib Hashmi, as the supportive husband, gives a decent performance.

Divya Dutta, portraying a small-town woman in Mumbai, nails her character, and Arista Mehta, as her daughter, is noteworthy. Parvin Dabas is good in his limited screen time. Saiyami Kher, as a cricketer, performs well and fits her character perfectly.

Tahira Kashyap, the director, has crafted a delightful story that touches on various subjects and is highly relatable. The depiction of teenage issues is the fun part of the movie, and many girls, as well as parents dealing with their daughters, will relate to it. The supportive husband is a sweet addition, making you wish for a partner as supportive as him. The portrayal of small-town challenges in a big city is spot on, and the friendship between teenage girls stands out as a highlight of the movie. Finally, a girl's perseverance in pursuing her dreams is shown with a lot of grace.

What doesn't work is the unnecessary inclusion of angles related to homosexuality and infidelity. It seems they tried too hard to showcase many aspects of a woman's life. Sometimes, simplicity is better, and there's no need to overdo it.

Tahira need not be known just as Ayushmann Khurrana's wife; she has proven her mettle with this movie. What works best about this movie is that it never gets preachy, making you feel highly connected and emotionally invested. Watch this liberating, fun movie, which will surely bring a smile to your face. #pranureviews #SharmajeeKiBeti #SharmajeeKiBetiReview.

Beautiful movie, great acting, great story line

The movie is very well made. Great acting, great direction and good story line. This movie actually showcases how the next generation is - GenZs and beyond. It is not easy to deal with them.

It is an authentic portrayal of children of modern times, middle class families, the challenges in married life.

Sakshi Tanwar delivers a formidable performance, while Sharib Hashmi plays a sweet, supportive husband. Teen actors Vanshika Taparia and Arista Mehta shine, serving as the film's beating heart.

In summary, "Sharmajee Ki Beti" reminds viewers to love, respect, and treat women equally and deservedly.
