I gave it a high rating due to Heddy being back. She is the reason I watch the show. The whole time she was gone was torture. It was so great having her back. She needs to stay back and they need to write her into the show a lot!!!
Used to love this show, but it's losing most of its depth and is turning into a soap opera. Also, WTF? I get that this is fiction, but a Navy Seal's CO (or ANY CO in any branch of the military) approving an outside job that is defined by breaking Federal law is beyond ridiculous as a storyline. I live in a state that has legalized marijuana, support marijuana being legalized and worked approved second jobs during my military career and I STILL found the plot to be totally silly.
That's what Callen says at around 33min. He's right, what they are missing is decent writers! What have they been doing the past few years, hiring out of work soap opera writers to work part time to fill in gaps in the show? It's a one hour show, with about 20 minutes or commercial time cutting it down to an essentially 40 minute show. And of those 40 minutes there is about 10 to 15 of useless soap opera quality (un-quality?) babbling and boring so-called romancing. As for finally bringing Hettie back, it hasn't helped the show one bit. She is acting more like Dr. Ruth or Dr. Laura than the assistant director of a federal agency.
Wake up CBS, you are systematically killing what was once a really good show!
Every character lost their identity!!! The episode was frantic, and very hard to follow...the personalities of all of the team members had been changed. Bring back the original team. This change was not for the better!
Worst writing in any episode ever. I quit NCIS New Orleans for the same reason. Hope this was just an attempt at 'allow your kids to write an episode' or I am done with this show as well.
