Although interesting, the complete ignorance and lack of knowledge from the presenters in relation to what is Britain and what is the separate place of England, was totally off-putting. They are not the same place, a common mistake from English made documentaries.

Boudica certainly was not Queen of Britain nor did the Romans conquer Britain, as every Scottish school child would be able to tell them.

I suggest back to to the books for all presenters and writers, and hopefully they will learn the difference before they make another documentary series so full of factual inaccuracies it is near on impossible to watch.

When talking of how congested the London streets were in the 1860s, they showed central London with 20th century buses and modern taxis. They Should have shown horse and carriages. The use of motorised vehicles began after 1900, and became popularly used in the 1920s. London streets were packed with horse and carriages and horse drawn taxis and vehicles for business to transport goods. It wouldn't take much for a presenter or researcher to source photos showing gridlock traffic in London in the 1860s. It's little effort to make to create accurate history and images like that will mislead people.
