This is one of my very favorite Brady Bunch episodes. I love when the director says Carol is to be "Makin' with the greenery" (salad) and says about Mike "And Pops comes flippin' in" when Mike enters the kitchen. So funny. And the kids overacting with glazed eyes and frozen smiles. The director says "Nobody up there digs me" while looking to the ceiling. Then when Alice comes in with a head full of long curls and the director says "What's with the spaghetti" referring to her hair. I love the hippy clothes the director wears. And fun seeing the man who created the Brady Bunch playing the assistant. I really like this episode. FUN!
"All I need is a fuzz with a sense of humor" says the guy wearing a "very 70s" brown turtleneck and plaid jacket. He is a bookie who has an employee who just had a heart attack. He was denying who he was until the guy with the heart attack blew his cover. We also see a very long helicopter ride. The helicopter is going to and from an emergency call. This is actually very boring and consumes more time that it should. Another plot is an emergency in the hos basement of Rampart General Hospital. As a backdrop to all of the above features the firemen debating the pro and cons of buying a boat together.
Watch for the gas station owner wearing his outta-sight plaid pants and far-out white belt. He is a loud mouth and calls his employee a chowder head. He does something stupid and cause a problem and near disaster. Next, we have a clumsy lady that mishandles a pneumatic nail gun and cause a problem. This lady is married to an old man whom she said is "like a father" to her. How weird is that?! Another plot, Dr. Brackett is very unhappy with the hospital administrator because of a lot of red-tape. Another feature of this episode is Henry the bassett hound at the fire station. Such a cute and sweet doggie.
