Watched this animated version of The Grinch purely for the fact that I always like to watch Xmas movies in December.
Looking at it from an adult, I had to stop watching after about an hour, but then I thought about my nephews who are under 8, they loved it.
This version of the Grinch is good for kids, but I would not compare it to the Jim Carrey version.
So, you are missing the Anthony Hopkins narrator voice, and Jim Carreys superb acting of The Grinch, but in context, this movie is good for the kids.
Admittingly, Arthur Christmas is still my favourite animated Xmas movie of all time, so this version of The Grinch has a long way to go to beta Arthur.

What a great episode. Again shows how good season 8 was of The Simpsons.
Not only do you get Fox and Muldaur, but you also get Leonard Nimoy in a very funny apperance.
It helps that I am a huge fan of Star Trek and The X Files. So I found this episode to be even more appealing.
Excellent episode and in my top 5 for sure.

I found that after about 10 minutes into this episode, I started putting plastic covers on my Batman comics, and just listened rather than paying attention to the episode.
M*A*S*H did a similar episode back in the 70's where a camera would follow the cast and they would talk directly into it, and this was a really good episode, but BNW, did not get the same chemistry.
This is the most disappointing episode of the series, a bit like TNG's Shade of Grey, so if you are a real fan, watch it but like me, will be by passing it when I continue to re watch my Star Trek TV series.
