Is Nick Cage supposed to the "average man" if so I find that very offensive. You make a promise, you have to stand by your word. Just like if somebody says yes to ANY situation. Even if you regret it after the fact, you still gave your word. KNOW THY SELF. If your drunk or angry and make a deal, then back out when you get back to normal, you clearly do not know yourself. He is a weak, waste of a person, the movie character, not Nick Cage himself. I resent the premise of this movie, and I would suggest finding anything else to watch!!
I don't care how long the run time is. If I still have zero interest in the time the movie hits 25 minutes, I walk. At the 25-minute mark, I was BOARD TO TEARS!! It's about bad people doing bad things. For some reason, it's a huge shock that even when a selfish, self-centered person has a kid, they stay selfish. WOW, who would have ever thought THAT? I'm done, This was not even worth the 25 minutes I did give it!!
This movie was actually good until the girl yelled at the cop car on the bridge. At that point, the girl was responsible for almost every bad thing that happened. After she knew the kind of people those cops were, and she still did what she did. The idea in this type of horror movie is to relate to the victim. When the "relatable" character does something that gets everyone killed, it's hard to feel for someone so stupid. In this story, they should have leaned in much harder for feeling sorry AND justified watching Leatherface do what he did. To me, the movie was unable to pick a lane. Another issue, if this all happened in a few days why is the moon full, later that night the moon is at half, then the very next day it's back at full again? CONSISTENCY in reality and VARIETY when having fun!
