I love this cast-- everyone was terrific. Mercedes Ruell is fabulous, as always. It's fun seeing Charlene Tilton and Morgan Fairchild; I hadn't seen them in years-- and bittersweet seeing Tony Todd in this film. He was a gem and gone too soon. I could've done without the couple in yellow and the texting orange-hair. These characters are annoying, unfunny, and pointless. Overall, this movie is lots of fun.

Angela Lansbury and Jason Bernard are perfect, as always, and Ramon Franco was a stunning surprise-- I loved his final scene. But beyond that, this episode is unbearably bad. It all feels forced and wooden. The relationships aren't believable and one is just outright ridiculous. There are too many characters on the screen and there's no reason to care about any of them. This feels like a different show than the ones in every other season. And there's an unnecessary, ugly and crude line that would never have been included in earlier Murder She Wrote episodes. They should have left things alone.

The acting, writing, photography, lighting, sets... It's all top notch. And yet, I just wanted to throw this out there. This is one depressing story. Most of the characters having few redeeming qualities and some are simply evil. Lots of twists and turns and you probably won't guess the outcome, but there is nothing humorous or uplifting in any part of this tale. This is a dark story all the way through, so if you're fine with that, you're in for an incredible series. These actors are perfect, every one. But if the state of the world has you feeling hopeless about much of humanity, you might want to skip this. Just sayin'.
