All these years later it still brings me to tears. The actors made it all so real. Their sadness at the end of the series and leaving was totally real and played perfectly into the story. The balance between the tragic story lines of Hawkeye and Charles, the humor of Klinger and the personal growth of Hotlips was so well done. Although I cannot say every episode was a great in my personal view, I have favorite episodes of the series still. Some were very moving and some were full of humor. There were wonderful memorable characters. The writers more than met the challenge to end the series in an unforgettable way.

This episode and the one following, Yalu Brick Road, are two favorites. Charles is magnificent. MASH is a rarity in that every time they added new cast members they just improved. BJ and Charles were both amazing. Not only were the characters they portrayed remarkable but the actors portraying them perfect. BJ was not only up to Harkeye's challenge but often surpassed him. And Major Charles Winchester III showed, from his first appearance, that he was equal to their antics. Colonel Potter was an unforgettable character. Harry Morgan was incredible in the part. He should have won more than one Emmy for the role,

It had to be funny. It's Thor! The Thor movies were always the most humorous, with the exception of Guardians of the Galaxy of course. I enjoyed it for the light hearted entertainment it was. If you want serious and heartbreaking re-watch the Dr. Strange episode. Both worked for me for different reasons.
