Eigil and Vip are close friends. Both of them live in Norway. They will soon finish their upper secondary school education. In Norway, these students are called russ. Many russ students have access to a bus or a van. Eigil and Vip have a van, but it literally sinks underwater.
After the sad accident, a plan B is needed. Eigil and Vip decide to try to get on the school's coolest bus. But climbing the social ladder can be very difficult, how far are they willing to go?
I live near the Norwegian border. Therefore, I've seen a few russ. They seem to be kind. And yes, I liked this TV series. "Russebussen"/"The Russ Bus" is interesting and a bit funny if you ask me. Yes, I think that their russ parties are quite wild, but nothing that escalates extremely much. I missed more depth in the story, and also more character development. Yes, I can recommend it, but for whom? Hm ... maybe for Norwegians?

Tilde is a young and beautiful woman. She goes to a bar with her friends. Once there, the women meet Daniel and his friend Robban. The men are middle-aged. Daniel is also married and has children. Tilde and Daniel start hanging out a little more privately. And yes, that decision has consequences.
I need more information about Tilde's family background, especially when it comes to her father. I'm tempted to call Tilde naive and immature. But I need to know some facts about her father first. Did or does Tilde have regular contact with him? Did he teach her anything about men, dating or love?
Daniel seems to think that actions have no consequences. And that mindset is very bad to have. Tilde hesitated in some scenes. At least if you ask me. Daniel may have had a detailed plan, but I could also see a little hesitation in him.
Would I like to recommend this short film? I'm not sure about that. Maybe, maybe not. "Weak women" is quite good. Not the best movie that I've seen, but I don't regret watching it.

Nora, a young woman, has a good life. She goes out and parties with her friends. They have a nice time during those occasions. Nora also has a close contact with her mother.
During one day, Nora meets Simon. He's young, handsome and nice. He works as a caregiver at a nursing home. Nora soon begins to develop feelings for Simon.
But it doesn't take long before Simon's darkness begins to emerge. Is there a way out for Nora?
"Gaslight" is, if you ask me, a strong drama with really great music choices. I liked the acting and how the story was constructed.
So what did I miss in this TV series? Hm ... a teeny tiny bit more physical violence, more clarity and more info about Simon's background. I would have liked to know more about the fathers of Nora and Simon.
But all in all, I appreciated this TV series. I think that it has good quality and yes, I can recommend it.
