Maybe there was a single laugh but I don't remember it. Instead most of this episode was just boring & sad.

Half of the 45 minutes (or so it seemed) was spent in the (possibly hospital but doesn't make sense) room he is recovering from his injury from at the end of the last episode. It is just boring with one ongoing set of scenes in the room that takes forever to get where we know from the start it will go. And still boring.

Continuation of the Gibo & Karla saga that was just a story that dragged thru the entire episode. There's another followed plotline in this episode that never actually goes anywhere.

A few very brief softcore sex scenes that also were boring. This episode has few redeeming qualities. Should have fast-forwarded thru most of it.

I have this a perfect score because I couldn't find a fault in this film. From beginning to end I was mesmerized. This is called a comedy, has a few laughs but is really a whodunit.

This tells the story of The taxing woman and other tax auditors & investigators. After a few early audits of people it especially focuses on one investigation on an extensive tax evader. It is the details of everything that really drew me in.

Written & Directed by Juzo Itami who has made almost a dozen great films like Tampopo & The Funeral. This script is extremely intelligent. So many details along the way that take a pedestrian plot into a fascinating story.

The acting is very good to outstanding. The Taxing Woman is played by Nobuko Miyamoto (Juzo Itami's wife) and won a Japanese Best Actress award that was well deserved.

This movie moves from scene to scene almost as one continuous to thread. Truly one of the best films I have seen.

A few good things this episode. (Without spoilers) A very interesting scene between 2 characters in a classroom. A character explaining their sexuality. It just sounded very personal & colorful. Something is done by one character that is totally out of character for them. Totally! Shocking & funny.

Sone not so good. A dream sequence by one character. Not the first time but I hate them. I also am tired of scenes of improper activity done at the school, with no locked doors, seemingly unconcerned of getting caught that in real life would never happen. The last 20 minutes is almost all taking place at a pool party (as seen in last episodes coming attractions) one of the students is hosting. At this party is unlimited alcohol and sex is openly announced. For high school students! Uh, No. Just sucks the life out of those scenes.

There are the requisite softcore sex scenes. These have been getting very brief in length the past few episodes. The exception is one very erotic lesbian scene that is longer.
