Even though this was a copy in most parts, lifted from other movies outside of Bollywood, it was an eye opener in creating a shock effect for the general film goers and audiences of Indian cinema. This obviously kickstarted and made SRK a superstar. Furthermore, it showed the sheer class and acting abilities of SRK, not to mention his proving his versatility.

Text: Thanks for trying, though. It's nothing like the original so why associate with it. I believe the objective was to bait everyone in watching it and Mr Will Smith paid to create the hype.
Well, the bottom line is that, one absolutely cannot compare this with the original, it's different in every aspect except for the character names. No go for me.

Bravo to Govinda and to Late Rajesh Khanna.
These days we salivate to watch a dynamic duo of this calibre. Yesteryears is when one was actually putting out a performance compared to now which is all about glamour and most of all very little of acting, or rather with any substance, if any.
