This one wrongly uses the Planet of the Apes franchise title. This title was supposed to mean something. This one is more of a coming to age movie that uses the planet of the apes title than an actual planet of the apes movie. No problem with this but why they have to spoil a good franchise with great history and futuristic meanings with a boy's story entering the hero world. The story is very very average and it goes very slow at the first 2/3 and has a kind of action at the last third. It has got one or two nice, not even strong, scenes and that is all. Also, no meanings at all. It is more of a beggining of a new trilogy. The good thing is that the effects are decent and that the... No that's all.
Deadpool & Wolverine is so bad that makes the last Ant-Man movie and art movie made by Nolan Antonioni and Bergmann combined. The only group it might appeal is that of 14 year old boys and not the clever ones. The humor which supposed to be a Deadpool's strong point is non existent. The only sector that justifies my 3/10 star review is probably Hugh Jackman's performance as Wolverine who is constantly angy, which I believe is true because of his anger and his disgust of how he let himself participate in this - kind of - movie. The good part is the cameo of past heroes and that the cinema was actually fully booked by people that all regretted their money. It's certainly an elevation of taste, as someone understands the garbage we are served today.
It is the story of Darryl Anka a man who channels an alien entity called Bashar. Still, the important thing in the film is not the story of Darryl but the things that Bashar is actually talking about. For a spiritual seeker these things seem and sound truthful and helpful. You can believe or not Darryl's story but it doesn't make a difference and no one should stay in just the story. The things Bashar is talking about are very powerful and intriguing and welcome everyone to examine life in so many perspectives and possibilities. Darryl is just a messenger of these words and as the saying goes, do not shoot the messenger. It was excited.
