Admittedly, I don't subscribe to the Philosophy of what Terrence McKenna is talking about in this video, and I'm not going to suggest that he is completely wrong. And I'm also not rating the video on the notion that it is a "wrong" philosophy to subscribe too. But this is completely incoherent and bizarre, and precisely what you would expect from a show in San Francisco.
Psychedelia gets a bad wrap due to things like this. Because psychedelics can range from an out of body experience to, oh so random visuals that look hilarious. And enough oh so random stuff is made that people just think the genre is completely worthless. I'm sorry Terrence McKenna and Ken Adams, you have no idea what the purpose of colorful visuals that excite the senses have in this kind of product, and they essentially scream I am not a perfectionist in any way.
Also, no one cares that you smoke weed, you are completely delusional and I wouldn't be surprised if the 21 10/10 ratings were all people that worked on this production. This is very sad.

Compared to the absolute mastery of the orginal fantasia, this is incredibly bland. Fantasia is groundbreaking, and this is very clearly not. Apart from the great animation from Eric Goldberg in Rhapsody in Blue, this is a waste of time.
