This appears to be a very well constructed documentary on the outbreak of the Coronavirus. It's a really important story, but I find it hard to concentrate on what it is telling me. There is constant eerie sound effects, sinister music and the screen keeps shaking presumably for dramatic effect.
Alixe Bovey travels around Britain using the Gough map (circa 1400). She is good company and full of interesting information and stories. I am currently watching it for the second time on PBS America and enjoying just as much as the first time. I am a big fan of Robert Bartlett who is more concerned with medieval political history, whereas Alixe Bovey, here, is covering medieval social history.
Please stop giving rating depending on your political bias. I began to watch this drama because of the high ratings this was getting on IMDB. It's good intentions were obvious, but as a drama it was second rate and I gave up half way through the 3rd episode.
