Was a fan of the original series. Otherwise I doubt if I would have watched this. There are some good things in this movie but they are few and far between. Max Baer Jr. Stayed away from the project and was probably glad after seeing it. The replacement Jethro looked nothing like the original. Jed,Miss Hathaway,and Elly May were all in here. Oh and ya see some old character actors from years back as well. Most notable Werner Klemperer aka Col. Klink from Hogans Heroes. Overall I gave it 5 stars the movie wasn't bad it had a story and once ya started watching ya figured ya had some time put into it ya might as well see the end. It is one of those movies that you will never go out of your way out too see again. If there is nothing else to watch you might choose a book,nap or even a walk in a rainstorm.

I watched this going into the movie knowing it was going to be dumb.The title says it all how does anyone expect anything different is beyond me.Since it is two major stars and I never heard of the movie.i did not expect Oscar type of a performance(neither of these two could have ever been mistaken for great acting ability in the past) So with that in mind I sat down and relaxed and enjoyed the movie.Not the best written.Just plain and downright funny.Some of the jokes are lame.These two are so dumb it makes ya wonder how they got through life!yet the story is good enough to say I wanna see the end! I read many of the reviews on here and the overall thing is that many expected way to much from this movie.Plain and simple it is meant to entertain and this movie does the job!
