Filmed in Lanzarote where I live. It is a short movie. And What I mean by that is it should be a "short".
I like the idea of the plot. I love these kind of stories. It is beautifully filmed. But I miss something more evolutioned (notice the "twist"?bad joke. Sorry) realationship between the boy and the nurse, for example. Either add layers or make it a 20-25 minute short.
Having said that, I am sure I would do it much worse...But I am a mere spectator.

It starts with the Iraqui militias which in reality now are Iraq´s army.
It shows how much in the mud of violence are all sides:
1. Sunies and Daesh.
2. Chiites ,the Yihad, and Iran.
3. Israel and the USA.
To me, my two biggest shocks in the doc came when watching a chiita mother with a killed son that "worked" in the militia wishing his other sons to give their lives for the same martyrness.
The other shock came watching American politician John Bolton, former Security Counsil for Donald Trump. This politician darely feels insulted when Chiitas "only" offered 300k to kill him. This attitude comes from someone than in a bar fight, just like me, would endure less than 2 seconds. What an inferiority complex mind in such a decision maker. His job is to counsil for security, obviously not peace.
Strangely, and I might be wrong, Doug Silliman and Thomas Shannon gave me a more calm and reasonable attitude (that is not saying that I agree with what they say).
This documentary is crude. It was released in 2025, so it is up to date about Syria too. It lets you with a bitter feeling that there is no end to all this even in the long future due to the different views and violent "education" of each side. I reckon I do not know what the solution to all this is (from my home´s couch where I comfortably seat watching this mess). There are wounds that come from decades. Ire kills hope wherever you look at. Scary.

I love serial killer tv series or movies. I know, I am pretty simple. Then I cannot bear real blood in my eyes. But it is more the psychology in it all that attracts me the most more than the creepy details. That is why ironically the Korean censorship with certain images help me as well as steal a smile from my face.
I have not watched it all (I am in the 10th episode. It seems like after episode 7 is a new season with the same characters, but I am still not completely sure yet. But I am hooked. Sure, there are some details like the knob and 3 people realizing certain things at the same time that do not seem realistic. But when a story is compelling we all know we pardon certain not-so-credible details. There are a few more "mistakes", like in the first episode there were so many video cuts in the edition that I almost got out of the story. Or when there is a flashback they use an annoying style of intermitent grey light or something that makes me look away from the screen.
But hey, wasn´t it created to make it fun? They for sure got that with my persona. Great show and different for a westerner like me (Canary islands). Just watch it.
