OMG.
What is going on?
An elderly woman with mental health issues being exploited by Mr. Bennett to line his pockets by the desperate situation of the main protagonist and writing a play portraying himself as the 'hapless victim' doing a good deed.
Really?
A massive house in which he lives alone. Would it have been to much to ask that he could have offered the lady a room to stay in?
Yes, we like our privacy, granted, but the lack of empathy displayed by Mr. Bennett, in using his morsel of altruism to cash in on homelessness, leaves me cold.
I really do hope that people are more charitable in real life?
What is the point of this film?
It addresses nothing.
A lesson maybe in the charitable Narcissistic people who exploit those less fortunate to give themselves a feel good rush.
9 for the acting.

Tim Roth, plays an aging 'Hitman', Jack O'connor, his unwitting target, Peter Mullan, a depraved lowlife criminal, who is pretty awesome in his role. He is genuinely very scary.
This is a very neat, well scripted and crafted film.
I would recommend it to everyone especially people who enjoy a nicely paced clever film. It does what it does, it entertains and is astute in what it says to us, the audience. I'll leave you to revel in Peter Mullan's screen time.

70 million budget spent on booze and botox.
Cast and crew got a dose of the guilties and knocked this together in the throes of DTs' to have something to show the bewildered studio execs who had no choice but to market this as 'Visionary' and try redeem their Shekels.
THEY DID, THE JOKE'S ON US...
