I don't know how I missed this movie in 2018 and now watching after 7 years in 2025. I have watched thousand of movies but I write review for very very few.

I thought after "Angrez" I will not find a fine punjabi movie like that but mankind proves that there is always another time.

What a heart touching story and strong line of characters. There are some loose opens and ends but the overall beauty made those very fade.

This movie Dana Pani really does justice with its name that how destiny can play its role and takes you there, where you belong and no matter what you want and what you struggle for, it has been written in its own way for you.

I don't why but ratting of this series is 1.3 right now whereas this cute thing deserves 20 out of 10. I have watched thousands of movies and series but I rarely reviewed any. Last time I wrote a review for a Punjabi movie "Angrej" because I wast lost in story and characters of that movie. Today, I felt the same for this very show. Character of Shiri is so adorable that I immediately fell in love with her and I started to believe that Shiri is a real character and I can meet her, support her and admire her. I always believed that writer and director are backbone of a screenplay but sometimes an actor can surpass the magic of director. And lastly I must say that Diviyanka played the role of Shiri so well. This role required innocence whole time and common sense on time. Seriously, no other actress could played the role better than Diviyanka.

Right from first episode it catched me up and I was really missing the characters of the show after last episode which by the way I watched it all in one sitting. At first I though that if she was a girl from sub continent then she would had full family support in her misery days but very next moment i denied my own thoughts because you are always on your own. Family systems in different countries look different from outside but in reality, in your hard days, its always you and only you.
