I like proper horror movies with good plot
i liked IT for example
but her you get the usual jump scares you get in a suboridnary horror movie
escalating point came late in the movie with few scenes that were just fine
nothing wow happens
i gave it a 2/10
save your money , not worth it
The leftovers explores the essence of human psychology in times of emotional distress , take for example the sudden unexplainable disappearance of 2% of the world population .. it shows us how far the human brain would go in such terrifying circumstances .. how would our brain and sole clings to any false hope or belief that would protect us from future distress and sustain us through our life .. On the other hand , it depicts how people would make use of such false- believers by "hugging the pain out of them" or via other actions ... it shows us how near the end of the world true believers would persevere while others get lost in the waves ... it explores several ideas from different point of views with spot on directing and acting ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
