The music is lush and cinematic, the story is heartwarming, and my children enjoy it often. A wonderful addition to the Christmas season. I appreciate the slower pacing, the whimsical world they've created, the lessons of responsibility, kindness, and the family values. The animated backgrounds are particularly well done. Christmas magic.
This is a safe and fun bet for the family any night of the week. Great songs! Very catchy and, at times, moving. Classic characters with slightly modern animation style to connect with today. The plot was a little simple for me, but worked and was straightforward. No unnecessary messaging. The dialogue felt, at times, like filler between songs. But I suppose that's the point of a musical. Personally, I think one less song with a little more character development would have elevated the whole thing. All that said, my kids loved it and we will surely watch again. It knew its primary audience and gave them a great addition to the Charlie Brown legacy.
Presented in a way that connects instantly with kids and explores the world around us from a fresh, entertaining, informative, and wonderfully British way. My kids enjoyed it immediately. Pacing is much more balanced than the hyper speed of much children's programming today. Mattie is an engaging host who understands how to present to kids. The show is well filmed, well produced, and educational. 10 stars from my family!
