About Maksym Kuzmitskyi
Senior Software Developer
Frontend · React · TypeScript
Kraków, Poland
Most of my work sits where interfaces, application state and services meet. I work mainly with React and TypeScript, alongside Node.js, API integration and SQL-backed applications. I care about how a feature behaves, where its data belongs and whether another engineer can understand the decisions behind it.
At Liberty Mutual, I build Direct Sales quoting and checkout flows connected to federated GraphQL services. The work spans UI implementation, service contracts, design fidelity and code review. I also develop AI-assisted workflows for tickets, pull requests and CI, including tool and MCP integration.
For Procter & Gamble, via Luxoft / DXC, I combined frontend architecture with hands-on delivery on a promotion-planning application. At Honda Canada, via Assembly Canada, I worked on shared React components, local state isolation and Cypress/Cucumber testing in a test-first workflow. At Motorola Solutions, my work progressed from enterprise applications and service integration to reusable UI, accessibility and frontend leadership.
At Ploom, via Hanson Regan, I worked as a senior frontend developer on a platform spanning multiple Next.js applications and 27 localized websites. I contributed reusable features, Builder.io content integration and feedback flows connecting the web with email, Telegram and a regional service, alongside analytics and authentication fixes.
Testing and accessibility are part of implementation for me. My experience includes Cypress, Cucumber, Playwright and Storybook, with test-first workflows and accessible UI development using WCAG principles. I also bring working knowledge of AWS and practical experience supporting deployment and releases.
Alongside frontend development, I design and iteratively refine AI-assisted delivery workflows. I connect repository context, developer tools and MCP integrations with focused checks and human review. I have also developed personal PR-review mechanisms with commit-aware tracking and dry-run checks, and maintain context handoffs between agent sessions. People retain ownership of requirements, decisions and approvals.
I have worked as an individual contributor, a frontend architect and a team lead. I value architecture when it makes implementation clearer, and leadership when it helps a team make and carry through useful decisions. The tools can change; understanding the problem, the system and the people working on it remains central to my work.

A few practical questions
What kind of software do you work on?
My experience includes enterprise planning tools, reusable frontend systems, multi-brand websites and customer-facing quoting and checkout journeys. The selected projects show different parts of that work rather than a complete employment history.
Do you also work beyond the frontend?
Yes. My experience includes Node.js, GraphQL and REST integration, and SQL-backed applications. I also have working knowledge of AWS and experience supporting deployment and releases. My main focus remains frontend engineering and the boundaries between UI, services and data. I also design AI-assisted workflows with repository context, tool integrations, focused validation and human review.
How do testing and accessibility fit into your work?
I treat them as part of implementation. At Honda Canada, I worked extensively with Cypress and Cucumber, writing tests before implementation. My experience also includes Playwright, Storybook and accessible UI development using WCAG principles.
