First I cut the extra backing off and then trimmed all the bits.
Then they’re all ready to sew together .
There’ll be enough to use as wadding for a donation “I Spy” quilt…..
Must away now and cut the blocks form my stash….

You are escaping the heat and we had 8 inches of snow - or more, I haven't ventured out to measure it yet.
ReplyDeleteI like to do that with batting off cuts too, they are useful to have around. Smaller pieces make great placemats.
ReplyDeleteIt's rather like getting a free quilt batting, isnt it. Well worth the effort.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely want to be indoors in that heat.... good use of the wadding - I really should get into my box of pieces and do the same!
